todays jewellery - more organics

I have no idea why I have not added any beads to these pieces. I guess I am liking them spare and simple. The necklace isn't finished yet - I just haven't figured out how I want to complete it. I will probably make more links in graduated sizes. The three pieces in the centre are actually fused together!

Going Organic

I am happy with the way these turned out - it has taken me awhile to play and work out the parts but I like the look and think it's worth exploring. I'm sure it's been done already but it is good for me to try to get away from trying to make everything 'perfect'.

Todays Earrings

The coin pearl earrings - part of my 'sticks'n'stones' series - sold on Etsy. The amazonite ones on saturday at the market. It is getting hard to keep up. The really hard part is that I have to contemplate raising my prices. The cost of silver has doubled in the last couple of months. Selling at the market will be hard if I do that though, as lots of folks seem to think my prices are too high already........When I see silver earring going for less than $20 I wonder 'how the bleep do they do it?'

todays jewellery

I am looking for a word to describe to look of this. The links are spindly and uneven. I am really liking it, however this particular necklace still needs some work. The stones are, Botswana agate, chalcedony, moonstone and biwa pearl.

Bevy of Bracelets

Bracelet number one is kind of where I feel I'm moving - silver is thinner, starting to work like a line, the dangle in a different spot.

The second: From the pages of this months BeadStyle Magazine. A great way to use up orphan beads. The ceramic focal bead is one of mine

This last is inspired by Hollie of Blindcavefish Studio. Check out her Etsy

Cake for Shannon

Here is a vanilla, caramel and buttercream cake cover with fondant for Shannons baby shower today. Needs work but still cute.

Update on the necklace: Am having it sent back to Kalmbach. If they send it to me by USPS or by Air UPS or declare a value of less then $20 then it won't cost me a flip freakin' $40 to get back!
