Liking Gold

I never did like the look of gold much. but lately I have been changing my mind. So, with a mixture of 14k gold fill, vermeil and some pretty stones, here are three new pairs of earrings.

Angle Dangles. Turquoise, Amazonite, 14k gold fill, vermeil. $59

Dangle Hoops. Turquoise, Swarovski crystal, 14k gold fill, vermeil. $49

Spring Mixer. Citrine, Amethyst, Swarovski crystal, 14k gold fill, vermeil. $69

Yummy Pink Cupcakes.

So on Friday we had chocolate cupcakes for sale at The Cookhouse for two dollars each. I didn't think that was too bad considering the ones I saw at the market were two fifty and decidedly messy looking. The response was seriously lacklustre. Most people didn't even see them and those who did thought they weren't real. One lady commented that they had too much icing. I thought they were sweet and looked just like spring. They were immensely tasty too, I might add. So they boys upstairs at Soled Out got some and Laura and Crystal took some home. The security guard seemed to like his, although I braced for his criticism as there usually is something....I'm sure I'll hear something tomorrow.
