Luckily we got the new snow tires on mum's car on sunday. Oh boy did we get snow. Of course what we didn't get were shovels or salt. Last night, after Chase got home from work, we walked to Canadian Tire to get shovels as our driveway had completely disappeared. Still don't have the salt but the temperatures over the next couple of days seem to be mild enough to keep the walkways wet instead of icy. A semblance of Christmasy feeling is stirring in here somewhere. Maybe tomorrow I will make gingerbread. If there is time before I go to work.
