Wilton Cake Decorating: Course 1 - the clown cakes

As you can see, the students are having a great time with these cakes. Usually, when I tell them they have to make a clown cake, I get a dismayed reaction. But, once they see the clowns and actually start making them, everyone seems so pleased and has loads of fun.

Saturday Demo in the Window.

Last Saturday I did a demo at the Cookhouse in the window. Demonstrating what the Course 2 cake looks like and showcasing all sorts of royal icing flowers. I didn't have time to finish the cake, guess I'll have to do it again soon.........
